The Apache Junction Prospectors basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Desert Heights Prep Yote to 48 in the Prospectors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Prospectors now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Joya Community for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Apache Junction will battle a Fighting Lobos team coming off a 66-32 non-league win over San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Fighting Lobos record now stands at 3-8.

The Yote (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sequoia Charter (Mesa, AZ). The Stallions come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record.
