December 27, 2022: Austin, TX 78723 The Austin Achieve Polar Bears (Austin, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Chilton Pirates (Chilton, TX), 73-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Polar Bears (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The go into the 4A Region III District 22 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Manor New Tech was trounced by Orangefield (Orangefield, TX), 61-52, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bosqueville for a 2A Region III District 17 test on Friday, December 30. Chilton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-30 non-league win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-7.
