Ohio High School Basketball - Cathedral Prep tops Austintown-Fitch

Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), 37-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cathedral Prep upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to Erie (Erie, PA) to play the Royals in a District 10 Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Falcons play the Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Austintown-Fitch will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH).
