In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Berne Union Rockets (Sugar Grove, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Delaware Christian Eagles (Delaware, OH), by a margin of 47-45.

The Rockets (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Northside Christian (Westerville, OH). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Northside Christian was tipped by Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH), 52-42, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fisher Catholic for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 28.
