Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX), 53-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Bend Kempner upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Texas City (Texas City, TX) to play the Stingarees in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Stingarees come into the bout with a record of 12-7. Texas City won 78-41 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Exporters play the Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Brazosport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 49-26 league loss to Alief Taylor (Houston, TX).
