Illinois High School Basketball - Lemont nips Conant
December 27, 2022: Lemont, IL 60439 Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL), 42-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lemont upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Lemont HS travel to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Glenbrook South lost 74-64 in their recent non-league bout against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL)
Next up, the Cougars play the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Conant will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Dukes come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 68-59 non-league loss to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL).
