Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) and the visiting La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA), saw Downey's basketball squad wallop La Quinta by a tally of 70-34.

With the victory, Downey improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 9-5.
