New York High School Basketball - Vestal crushes Edison
December 27, 2022: Elmira Heights, NY 14903 Vestal Golden Bears (Vestal, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Edison Spartans (Elmira Heights, NY), 55-18 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Vestal upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-1. North Penn-Mansfield won 69-38 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (Elmira, NY)
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Notre Dame Crusaders (Elmira, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 69-38 non-league loss to North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA).
