December 27, 2022: Evans, GA 30809 Evans Knights (Evans, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 40-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Evans upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Knights host Burke County (Waynesboro, GA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Burke County won 63-45 in their recent non-league bout against Washington County (Sandersville, GA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Jefferson County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 63-45 non-league loss to Burke County (Waynesboro, GA).
