Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard South edges Latin
December 27, 2022: Chicago, IL 60610 The Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball nipped the host Latin Romans (Chicago, IL), 62-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Raiders (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Christ the King (Chicago, IL). The Gladiators go into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Christ the King got by Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 71-19, in a non-league test.
The Romans now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Lake Forest Academy for a Independent School test on Friday, January 6. Latin will encounter a Caxys squad coming off a 40-34 non-league loss to Northridge (Niles, IL). The Caxys record now stands at 3-4.
