December 27, 2022: Schulenburg, TX 78956 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX) and the visiting Gonzales Apaches (Gonzales, TX), saw Schulenburg's basketball squad wallop Gonzales by a tally of 60-34.
With the victory, Schulenburg improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Shorthorns host Weimar (Weimar, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Weimar lost 43-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Giddings (Giddings, TX)
Next up, the Apaches play the Burton Panthers (Burton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Gonzales will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record.
