Texas High School Basketball - Greenwood can't hold off Hargrave
December 27, 2022: Midland, TX 79706 The Hargrave Falcons basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Greenwood Rangers to 63 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Georgetown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Hargrave will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-46 league loss to Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.
The Rangers (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Billies enter the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Fredericksburg nudged Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX), 42-36, in a league contest.
