The Tolono Unity Rockets basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Illini Central Cougars to 26 in the Rockets non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the win, Tolono Unity upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Rockets travel to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 9-0.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL) in a Tomahawk bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Illini Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 63-45 non-league loss to Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL).
