The Independence 76ers (Columbus, OH) basketball felled the visiting Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks (Toledo, OH), 50-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The 76ers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH). The Red Devils go into the Columbus City - South test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Marion-Franklin was beaten by Africentric Early College (Columbus, OH), 85-57, in a league test.
