New Jersey High School Basketball - Timothy Christian can't hold off Keyport
December 27, 2022: Keyport, NJ 07735 The Keyport Raiders basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Timothy Christian to 70 in the Raiders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Keyport will battle a Piners team coming off a 63-37 non-league loss to Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Piners record now stands at 0-4.
The (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the Greater Middlesex - Blue contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Metuchen was nudged by Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 57-51, in a non-league contest.
