Arizona High School Basketball - La Joya Community crushes San Luis
December 27, 2022: San Luis, AZ 85349 La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ), 66-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, La Joya Community upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Fighting Lobos travel to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ) to play the Lobos in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Lobos come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Hayden won 51-50 in their recent league bout against Dishchii’bikoh (Cibecue, AZ)
Next up, the Sidewinders play the Antelope Rams (Wellton, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. San Luis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 59-36 non-league win over Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ).
