Kentucky High School Basketball - Somerset crushes Logan County
December 27, 2022: Somerset, KY 42501 Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY), 80-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Somerset upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Briar Jumpers travel to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to play the Rockets in a District 47 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 4-5.
Next up, the Cougars play the Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Logan County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 78-61 non-league win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).
