Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) and the visiting Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN), saw Rhea County's basketball squad overcome Macon County by a tally of 53-42.

With the victory, Rhea County improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Tri-Cities Christian won 64-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN)
