December 27, 2022: Okawville, IL 62271 The Mt. Carmel Golden Aces basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Okawville Rockets to 41 in the Golden Aces non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Aces now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murphysboro for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Mt. Carmel will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 49-41 non-league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-2.
The Rockets (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Shells come into the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Roxana was defeated by Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL), 49-41, in a non-league contest.
