The Rome Free Academy Black Knights basketball team (Rome, NY), was nudged 62-59 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY)

The Wolverines now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charter School for Applied Tech for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier battle on Tuesday, January 3.

The Black Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Auburn, NY). The Maroons come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Auburn was nudged by Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY), 57-53, in a non-league battle.
