December 27, 2022: Williamston, NC 27892 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) and the visiting North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC), saw Riverside-Martin's basketball squad hold off North Lenoir by a tally of 61-55.
With the victory, Riverside-Martin improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. North Pitt lost 71-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. North Lenoir will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 69-45 non-league loss to South Central (Winterville, NC).
