Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) and the visiting Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD), saw Oakland Mills's basketball squad wallop Watkins Mill by a tally of 90-52.

With the victory, Oakland Mills improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to River Hill (Clarksville, MD) to confront the Hawks in a Howard County challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. River Hill lost 66-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Milford Mill Academy (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) in a Montgomery 3A/2A challenge, on Friday, January 13. Watkins Mill will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
