The West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) basketball nipped the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), 73-72 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Chapel Hill got by Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 76-63, in a non-league test.
