Mississippi High School Basketball - West Union tipped by Southaven
December 27, 2022: Southaven, MS 38671 The Southaven Chargers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting West Union Eagles to 57 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Southaven will meet a Wolves team coming off a 80-72 non-league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Wolves record now stands at 7-4.
The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tremont (Tremont, MS). The Eagles enter the 1A Region 2 contest with a 3-5 record.
