The Mattoon Greenwave basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Altamont Indians to 35 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greenwave now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Mattoon will meet a Tigers team coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.

The Indians (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record.
