Illinois High School Basketball - Aurora Central Catholic overwhelmed by East Moline United
December 27, 2022: Aurora, IL 60506 The East Moline United Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Aurora Central Catholic Chargers to 23 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stillman Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. East Moline United will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 64-14 non-league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-1.
The Chargers (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Pretzels come into the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Freeport triumphed over Rockford East (Rockford, IL), 68-53, in a league contest.
