New Jersey High School Basketball - Paramus nips Bloomfield
December 27, 2022: Bloomfield, NJ 07003 Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 38-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Paramus upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ) to play the Ridgers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Ridgers go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Glen Ridge won 50-8 in their recent non-league bout against People's Prep (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Bengals play the Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 35-23 non-league loss to Verona (Verona, NJ).
