December 27, 2022: Sterling, IL 61081 The Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) basketball crushed the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), 63-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Quincy was trounced by Alton (Alton, IL), 55-35, in a non-league test.
The Golden Warriors now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Eastland for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Sterling will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 62-42 non-league loss to River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 8-4.
