December 27, 2022: Shreveport, LA 71118 The Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) basketball felled the visiting Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA), 40-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cowboys (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Carroll (Monroe, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Carroll thwarted Rayville (Rayville, LA), 55-26, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Boone for a Raccoon River test on Tuesday, January 3. Carroll will encounter a Toreadors squad coming off a 57-39 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Toreadors record now stands at 3-5.
