Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) and the host Crystal City Javelinas (Crystal City, TX), saw Southwest's basketball squad hold off Crystal City by a tally of 42-38.

With the victory, Southwest improves its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. St. Anthony lost 45-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Randolph (Universal City, TX)

Next up, the Javelinas confront the Randolph Ro-Hawks (Universal City, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Crystal City will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Ro-Hawks come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 45-32 non-league win over St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX).
