Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Woods fells Fort Bend Travis
December 27, 2022: Cypress, TX 77429 Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX), 42-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cypress Woods moves its record to 12-9 on the year. The Wildcats host Dekaney (Houston, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-15. Dekaney lost 72-17 in their recent league challenge against Westfield (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Fort Bend Travis will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 62-36 non-league win over Crosby (Crosby, TX).
