In Tuesday's non-league outing, the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX), by a margin of 48-41.

The Longhorns (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Marlins go into the non-league outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Port Aransas got by Yorktown (Yorktown, TX), 35-32, in a league outing.
