With the victory, Granbury improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Rider (Wichita Falls, TX) to confront the Raiders in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-15. Rider lost 46-24 in their recent league challenge against Azle (Azle, TX)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. V.R. Eaton will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 49-37 league loss to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX).
