Michigan High School Basketball - Grosse Pointe South fells Huron
December 27, 2022: Ann Arbor, MI 48105 Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Huron River Rats (Ann Arbor, MI), 53-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grosse Pointe South upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Macomb Area - Red bout on Thursday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Utica Eisenhower lost 47-33 in their recent league bout against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI)
Next up, the River Rats clash with the St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Huron will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 58-46 non-league loss to Saginaw (Saginaw, MI).
