Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hanover Area overwhelmed by Old Forge
December 27, 2022: Old Forge, PA 18518 The Old Forge Blue Devils basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes to 8 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross for a Lackawanna 3 contest on Monday, January 2. Old Forge will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 72-19 non-league loss to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.
The Hawkeyes (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA). The Blue Knights come into the Wyoming Valley 3 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Wyoming Seminary College Prep was routed by Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA), 44-31, in a league contest.
