Texas High School Basketball - Valley overwhelms Hawley

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX) and the host Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX), saw Valley's basketball squad wallop Hawley by a tally of 67-20.

With the victory, Valley improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Coahoma (Coahoma, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-9.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Hawley will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 45-31 non-league loss to Wall (Wall, TX).
