December 27, 2022: Holmdel, NJ 07733 The Holmdel Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Roselle Catholic Lions to 32 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ranney for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Holmdel will battle a team coming off a 68-67 non-league win over South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The record now stands at 3-1.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, South Brunswick was routed by Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ), 68-67, in a non-league contest.
