December 27, 2022: Montclair, NJ 07042 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ) and the visiting Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles (Washington Township, NJ), saw Immaculate Conception's basketball squad overcome Immaculate Heart Academy by a tally of 58-48.
With the victory, Immaculate Conception improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Crusaders in a Freelance challenge on Sunday, January 8. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 8-3.
Next up, the Blue Eagles play the Hudson Catholic Hawks (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Immaculate Heart Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 44-36 non-league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ).
