Ohio High School Basketball - Maumee overwhelms Scott
December 27, 2022: Maumee, OH 43537 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH) and the visiting Scott Bulldogs (Toledo, OH), saw Maumee's basketball squad wallop Scott by a tally of 60-26.
With the victory, Maumee improves its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Southview (Sylvania, OH) to confront the Cougars in a Northern Lakes challenge on Friday, January 6. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Southview won 46-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Start Spartans (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo City challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Scott will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 53-30 non-league win over Brush (Lyndhurst, OH).
