Texas High School Basketball - Rockport-Fulton overwhelms Taft
December 27, 2022: Rockport, TX 78381 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) and the visiting Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX), saw Rockport-Fulton's basketball squad wallop Taft by a tally of 72-26.
With the victory, Rockport-Fulton improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Pirates host West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Bears in a 4A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. West Oso won 61-18 in their recent league challenge against Sinton (Sinton, TX)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Odem Owls (Odem, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Taft will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 59-18 non-league loss to Poth (Poth, TX).
