New Jersey High School Basketball - Monmouth Regional knocked off by Allentown
December 27, 2023: Allentown, NJ 08501 The Allentown Redbirds basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Monmouth Regional Falcons to 40 in the Redbirds non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Redbirds now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freehold Township for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Allentown will meet a Patriots team coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.
The Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Academy for Urban Leadership Charter (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Academy for Urban Leadership Charter was outscored by Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ), 68-43, in a non-league contest.
