Illinois High School Basketball - Annawan trounces Hiawatha
December 27, 2023: Kirkland, IL 60146 The Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) basketball crushed the host Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL), 64-26 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Braves (11-2) will now prepare for their test against LaMoille (LaMoille, IL). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, LaMoille walloped Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL), 50-47, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Westminster Christian for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. Hiawatha will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 78-38 non-league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-9.
