December 27, 2023: La Crosse, WI 54601 The Aquinas Blugolds basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Cambridge Bluejays to 53 in the Blugolds non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Blugolds now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Aquinas will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 100-68 non-league win over Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 8-1.
The Bluejays (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Northwestern was defeated by Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (Galesville, WI), 100-68, in a non-league contest.
