Arkansas High School Basketball - Central nudges Archbishop Wood
December 27, 2023: Little Rock, AR 72202 Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA), 68-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Westminster Academy won 58-43 in their recent non-league bout against Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR)
Next up, the Vikings clash with the Washington Eagles (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Archbishop Wood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 83-78 non-league loss to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD).
