New Jersey High School Basketball - Arts overwhelms Barringer
December 27, 2023: Newark, NJ 07102 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Barringer Blue Bears (Newark, NJ), saw Arts's basketball squad wallop Barringer by a tally of 70-21.
With the victory, Arts improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to West Side (Newark, NJ) to play the Roughriders in a Super Essex - American challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. West Side won 56-53 in their recent league challenge against University (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Blue Bears play the West Caldwell Tech Eagles (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Barringer will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 58-43 non-league win over Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ).
