Kentucky High School Basketball - Casey County overwhelmed by Barren County
December 27, 2023: Glasgow, KY 42141 The Barren County Trojans basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Casey County Rebels to 44 in the Trojans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bardstown for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Barren County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 77-66 non-league win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 6-6.
The Rebels (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Cumberland County was routed by Bardstown (Bardstown, KY), 77-66, in a non-league contest.
