Michigan High School Basketball - Richard nips Brandywine
December 27, 2023: Niles, MI 49120 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) and the host Brandywine Bobcats (Niles, MI), saw Richard's basketball squad hold off Brandywine by a tally of 57-55.
With the victory, Richard improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Lutheran North (Macomb, MI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Lutheran North lost 53-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Bridgman Bees (Bridgman, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Brandywine will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Bees come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 57-27 league win over Fennville (Fennville, MI).
