December 27, 2023: Camden, AR 71701 The Genoa Central Dragons basketball team (Texarkana, AR), was overwhelmed 70-28 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Camden Fairview Cardinals (Camden, AR)
The Cardinals now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hot Springs for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Camden Fairview will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-51 non-league win over Nevada (Rosston, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 4-7.
The Dragons (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Prescott (Prescott, AR). The Curley Wolves come into the 3A Region 7 battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Prescott was overwhelmed by Malvern (Malvern, AR), 65-43, in a non-league battle.
