Tennessee High School Basketball - Jefferson County can't hold off Carroll
December 27, 2023: Dandridge, TN 37725 The Carroll Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Jefferson County Patriots to 50 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Patriots now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Carter for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.
The Patriots (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sevier County (Sevierville, TN). The Smoky Bears enter the 4A District 2 contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Sevier County nudged Jasper (Jasper, AL), 63-50, in a non-league contest.
