Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), saw Central Cabarrus's basketball squad wallop Sun Valley by a tally of 85-36.

With the victory, Central Cabarrus improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Mount Pleasant won 66-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)

Next up, the Spartans play the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Sun Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 66-64 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
